Pantry Snap Pro is designed as a local-first app. The app helps users track food items and expiration dates using product photos, expiration photos, on-device OCR, and local reminders.

Information Pantry Snap Pro stores

Pantry Snap Pro stores the following information locally on the user’s device:

• product names
• quantities
• storage category selections such as pantry, fridge, or freezer
• expiration dates
• compressed product photos and expiration photos
• local reminder settings

Items added manually use the same local storage model. Deleted items are removed from the device database unless immediately restored with the undo control. The app also includes a Delete All Pantry Data option for a full local reset.

Information Pantry Snap Pro does not collect

• no account information
• no analytics or tracking data
• no ads or advertising SDKs
• no advertising identifiers
• no contact lists
• no location data
• no payment information
• no user-generated pantry data uploaded to a Pantry Snap Pro server

Camera and photo access

Pantry Snap Pro uses camera access so the user can capture a product photo and an expiration photo. The app may also use photo library access when the camera is unavailable. Those photos are used only to help the user manage pantry inventory on the device.

OCR and reminders

Pantry Snap Pro performs OCR on-device to suggest product names and expiration dates. Local notifications are scheduled on the device to remind the user before an item expires.

Data sharing

Pantry Snap Pro does not sell, rent, or share user pantry data with third parties.

Data deletion

Users can delete individual pantry items, undo an accidental delete immediately, or use Delete All Pantry Data to remove the local pantry inventory and associated local reminders.
