Pantry Snap Pro is built to be quick while you unpack groceries. If something does not behave as expected, use the notes below before reaching out.
Common questions
- For the fastest first item, use Quick Add or Add Manually and tap a Fast Starter.
- If OCR misses the date, adjust the picker manually and save the item.
- If a reminder should fire earlier, open the item and change the reminder timing.
- If you stored an item in the wrong place, edit it and switch between pantry, fridge, or freezer.
- If a label is missing or hard to scan, use Add Manually from the inventory screen.
- If you no longer need an item, remove it from inventory. You can undo accidental deletes right away.
- If you want a clean reset, use Delete All Pantry Data from the Private by design section.
Troubleshooting
- Make sure notifications are enabled in iOS Settings if reminder alerts are missing.
- Use the Today action on the home screen to find the next item that needs attention.
- Use brighter lighting when capturing expiration stamps on reflective cans or jars.
- Retake the photo if the date stamp is blurry, cropped, or partially hidden.
- Use search or storage filters when your list gets long.
